Membership at Fellowship Church
Fellowship Church seeks to be a text-driven church in southwest Florida. We have outlined below some of the initial steps on how you can become a member at Fellowship Church. DISCOVER FELLOWSHIP classes are offered at various times throughout the year.

Fellowship Church Covenant
Members of Fellowship Church are encouraged to adhere to the following convictions:

Protecting the unity of the Church by:

Acting in love toward other members (John 13; Ephesians 4:3)

Refusing to gossip (Ephesians 4:29)

Following the appointed leadership of the Church (Hebrews 13:17)

When teaching scripture, doctrine or ethics in a church group setting, being careful to maintain unity and harmony in the Body through consistency of interpretation with pastoral leadership. (2 Timothy 2:15)

Sharing in the responsibility of the Church by:

Praying for its health, unity and growth (1 Thessalonians 5:12-18)

Sharing the gospel with unbelievers (Matthew 28:18-20; Proverbs 11:30)

Giving regularly (Matthew 6:2-4)

Warmly welcoming those who visit and/or who become members (Romans 12:13)

Serving in the ministry of the Church by:

Discovering spiritual gifts and talents, and actively seeking ways to employ them for God’s glory (1 Corinthians 12)

Being equipped to serve by pastors and lay leaders (Ephesians 4:11-12)

Developing a servant’s heart and discovering Christ’s mission to the world (Galatians 5:13; Romans 12:1)

Supporting the testimony of the Church by:

Attending faithfully (Hebrews 10:24-25)

Living a godly life, free from stumbling blocks to others according to biblical commandments, principles and examples (1 Timothy 6:11; Romans 14:13-15; 1 Corinthians 8:13)
